Reconstruction of Boiler-House with Installation of Biofuel Boiler in Starokostyantyniv City, Khmelnytska oblast

The project involves reconstruction of a gas boiler house. The new biomass boilers of 1 MW are planned to be connected to the existing heat network. Such capacity allows to cover up to 100% of hot water supply needs by biomass in the summer, and in general – 56% of the total consumer needs for thermal energy. The main fuel is biomass pellets of agricultural origin. The planned annual production of heat from biomass will be 5460 Gcal, while the fuel need is approx. 1600 tons of husk pellets (650 toe). Capital expenditures are 3.3 – 4.1 Mio UAH. The biofuel consumption results in annual natural gas savings of 744 th.m3, leading to 1414 t СО reduction.

Reconstruction of Boiler-House with Installation of Biofuel Boiler in Settlement Naddnipryansky of Kherson City

The project involves reconstruction of a gas boiler house. The new biomass boilers of 1 MW are planned to be connected to the existing heat network. The main fuel is biomass pellets of agricultural origin. The planned annual production of heat from biomass will be 1990 Gcal, while the fuel need is approx. 590 tons of husk pellets (235 toe). Capital expenditures are 2.7 – 3.5 Mio UAH. The biofuel consumption results in annual natural gas savings of 270 th.m3, leading to 516 t СО reduction.

Reconstruction of Boiler-Houses with Installation of Biofuel Boilers in Veselinovsky town united local community, Mykolayivska oblast

The project envisages reconstruction of three communal gas boiler houses. It is planned to install the new biomass-fired equipment in modular boiler rooms adjacent to the existing gas boiler house. The total thermal output is 500 kW. The main fuel for the boiler houses are  biomass briquettes of agricultural origin. The planned annual production of heat from biomass will be 728 Gcal, while the fuel requirement will be about 231 tons of briquettes (122 toe).  Capital expenditures are 3.7 Mio UAH. The biofuel consumption results in annual natural gas savings of 744 th.m3, leading to 189 t СО reduction.

Reconstruction of Boiler-Houses with Installation of Biofuel Boilers in Pryazovske Settlement of Zaporizhzhia oblast

Objective of the investment project is a coal substitution by biomass in the heating systems. The project envisages reconstruction of two working coal boilers. The new biomass equipment with a capacity of 1.86 MW is planned to be installed in a block-modular version adjacent to the existing boiler houses. The main fuels are sunflower husk pellets and baled straw. The planned annual heat production from biomass will be 2800 Gcal, while the fuel demand will be: 294 tons of pellets and 642 tons of baled straw. The total need for investments: from 3.3 to 4.2 million UAH.

The use of biofuels will replace up to 470 t / year of coal, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1325 tCO2e annually.

Construction of Boiler-House with Installation of Biofuel Boilers in Melitopol City of Zaporizhzhia oblast

This investment project is focused on replacing gas use by organizing biomass thermal energy production. An autonomous biomass boiler house of 500 kW is planned to be located in the territory of Melitopol Secondary School. The main fuel is selected from the sunflower husk pellets.

The planned annual production of heat is about 420 Gcal, with the need for fuel – about 120 tons of pellets.

The total investment need is UAH 2.0 million. The use of biofuels will replace up to 57 thousand m3 of gas, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 110 tCO2e annually.

Construction of Boiler-Houses with Installation of Biofuel Boilers in Pyriatyn City of Poltava oblast

Objective of the investment project is a coal and gas substitution by biomass in the heating systems. The project envisages construction of three biomass-fired autonomus modular boiler-house within the Pyriatin OTG. New biomass equipment is planned to be installed in block-modular construction close to the clients. The planned annual heat production – 512 Gcal, fuel consumption: 150 tonnes of pellets. The volume of capital investments is 5.3 million UAH.

The use of biofuels will replace 60 tons of coal and about 25 thousand m3 of gas, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 215 tons of CO2 per year.

Energy willow plantation creation for the chips production and subsequent use in biomass boilers of the Ksaverivka village council

The implementation of the project of the energy willow plantation creation is planned on the leased area of 90 hectares in the Ksaverivka village, Vasylkiv district, Kyiv oblast. It is assumed that energy willow plantation will provide up to 100% of the fuel needs of boiler house in the Ksaverivka village with 300 kW total capacity. The annual production of wood chips from energy willow will be 1,800 tons, and will result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 1006 tons of CO2 equivalent due to the biomass replacement with natural gas.

Energy willow plantation creation for the chips production and subsequent use in biomass boilers of the Irshava city amalgamated territorial community

The implementation of the project of the energy willow plantation creation is planned on the leased area of 60 hectares in the Loza village, Irshava district, Zakarpatska oblast. It is assumed that energy willow plantation will provide up to 100% of the fuel needs of boiler houses in the Irshava city ATC with 788 kW total capacity. The annual production of wood chips from energy willow will be 1,200 tons, and will result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 671 tons of CO2 equivalent due to the biomass replacement with natural gas.
