The Global Environment Facility (GEF) project is aimed to thoroughly investigate conditions and opportunities for the production of 2nd generation biofuels in Mozambique, Argentina and Ukraine. For Ukraine’s conditions the project considers production of bioethanol from wheat straw and synthetic biodiesel from poplar as an energy crop.
