Education: engineer-thermophysicist, National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI”, 1989, degree with distinction; PhD (1996) — Thesis covers numerical modelling of complex flows in energy equipment.
Specialization: Biomass potential assessment. Analysis of legislative basis for bioenergy development in Ukraine. Preparing analytical reviews and materials. Organization of international bioenergy conferences “Biomass for Energy”, theme seminars and training courses.
Work experience:
More than 10 years’ experience in bioenergy technologies (techno-economic assessments, technical assistance in introduction of bioenergy installations). Participated in development and implementation of a number of research and demonstration projects (technical assistance programs, CRDF, STCU, TACIS, European Commission FP5, FP6, FP7).
Previous experience: research of heat transfer and hydrodynamics of curved flows in energy equipment.
