Education: Moscow State Technical University named after N.E.Bauman, Power machine building department, special subject: gas turbines, 1986, degree with distinction, Ph.D. (1992). Thesis covers the improvement of centrifugal compressors designing.
Specialization: Development, management and implementation of bioenergy and waste-to-energy projects.
Work experience:
More than 10-year experience in the field of technologies for energy production from biomass and waste (combustion, gasification, pyrolysis, anaerobic digestion, landfill gas collection and utilisation, liquid fuels production). Participated in developement of a number of JI projects for German Energy Agency (DENA), Austrian Energy Agency EVA, Shimizu Corporation (Japan), and bioenergy and waste-to-energy projects in frame of IPP/CRDF program, STCU projects, TACIS project, NATO ASI Program, EcoLinks Program, a number of biomass-to-energy projects for Danish Energy Agency, Executing agency (SENTER) of Dutch Ministry of Economic Affair, PECO 1994 Program of EC Commission. Has writen more then 50 articles for core journals and conferences.
